Birchalls commissioned Irax to provide a customer payment application to compliment it's recently launched Order Mate service. The system was written in python using the django framework so that it compliments the existing development environment. The service is a front end to the accounting information held in their Microsoft Dynamics systems.
The application has been designed to work effectively on phones , and in desktop browsers where a more fully featured experience meets the user.
The card payments are processed Irax's own PCI/DSS Level 1 service under the Paybeagle brand. Paybeagle has its own API to allow web developers to integrate with payment services similar to WorldPay and SagePay, but local, developed in Manchester and having an approachable team to support the customers. Using it you can provide a seamless transition to the payment page so that the customer continues to see the payment form following the sites branding standards.
